This guitar is a blend of traditional balance with some radical contours and body sculpting. Has a thin mahogany body, tunomatic bridge, set neck, and a Duncan Designed™ pickup. Easy to play and has a nice sound. Has a sparkly black finish with a nice look. Limited lifetime warranty. Excellent choice for travel and kids.

Note: due to its very short scale this guitar may need to be tunned up for stable pitch and tuning.

This guitar has a very short scale which means that in order to be able to play it in standard guitar tuning you would need to either fret very gently or use heavier guage strings (such as 0.11 or heavier). Alternatively you can tune up the guitar a fourth (i.e. A D G B E A instead of the standard E A G D B E). For kids under 3 that would just 'strum' on the guitar an open G Chord tuning (G D G B D G) may be a good idea.

Good for ages 3-5 & travel.

Customer reviews of: GC 1/4 size mini electric guitar

In the late evenings in the middle of December I endlessly searched the internet for the perfect guitar.  For the one that called out my name. I knew I wanted a mini and when I saw the GC i knew it had to be the one.  Its unique shape made it stand out from the rest.  Within a few days of making my purchase the Fed Ex man arrived.  He didn't even step foot on the driveway before i greeted him jumping in excitement... the package arrived precisely on schedual. As i lifted it out all i saw was a beautiful, shiny gorgeous perfect guitar.  My parents and i are so pleasantly pleased with it and wanted to say thankyou so much for helping make my Christmas wish of having this "specific" rare guitar possible.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! ! !
