Customer reviews of: STC 1/4 size solid red cedar top classical guitar

This instrument is well-made, well-setup and has a musical sound. Many guitars in this size do not have those qualities. Ours developed a crack in the top and SmallGuitars was very helpful in getting a replacement quickly and the communication was great! My son (almost 4) enjoys playing this very much and will continue to grow as a player due to this guitar sounding so good while being playable for a child his size (3.25' tall).

Thank you for the prompt shipping and beautiful guitar. It sounds great and the tuning is almost perfect. My son loves it!. One of the tuning machines was faulty. After contacting you a new tuner was promptly sent and support was given to easily change the mechanism.</p>

I'm very happy with the little guitar - I'm an adult woman with arthritis, and was interested in trying a guitar that would have a gentler feel to the strings, and not make me stretch my fingers so far to play some of the harder chords and solo sequences... And this tiny guitar actually feels very comfortable to me! The tuning is great, the tone is pleasant, and it came set up very nicely, though I lowered the bridge a tiny bit to make it even easier to play... I have other guitars that I would probably use if I needed a fuller performance sound, but this one is wonderful for practicing and travel - and it allows me to practice for a longer period of time before my fingers get tired, which is great! I had a bit of trouble with the optional bag, as I tried to remove the strap and the plastic hook broke off... It might have been due to sudden temperature change (it arrived quite hot from the UPS truck, and was probably just cooling down) - but the important thing is that the guitar is all right, so I'm sure I can figure out a way to re-attach the strap to the case... Overall though I was very happy to find your site, and impressed to find a company so knowledgeable about small guitars! I would definitely recommend you folks to anyone looking for a small guitar, for a child or travel... Thanks again!

My 20 month old son adores music and guitars, this one is perfect for him!
