Customer reviews of: SE 3/4 to 7/8 size electric guitar

So far I have been very pleased with the SE 3/4 to 7/8 electric guitar I purchased for my 9 year old daughter. The Guitar was very well packaged and arrived in mint condition. The guitar came with a strap, picks, amp chord, tuner and instructional DVD and gig bag. (the gig bag is pretty cheap and doesn't offer much if any protection but it's fine for what i need.) I tuned the guitar up the minute I got it home. That night we traveled out of town in blistering cold temps and the guitar stated in tune even after exposing it to the cold. The pictures of the pink guitar don't do it justice. It has a very cool metallic flake in the finish and the pink is not obnoxious at all. The small neck on the guitar is perfect for a young player. As an adult I have a hard time playing it because the neck radius is so small and the frets are close together which makes it perfect for a young child. I had looked at some other guitars at a guitar store and quickly realized that some of the smaller scale guitars have the same neck radius as a full size guitar which allowed me to play it but not my 9 year old... I would definitely recommend SmallGuitars to anyone in the market for a smaller scale guitar at a great price.

This guitar is better than we hoped. It is of great quality and price we found around.

My daughter loves the guitar.  We had looked at some small guitars in toy stores and department stores and they just didn't have the quality I wanted in an instrument.  We did a web search and found Small Guitars and liked the look of the photos and the statement that these were good instruments first. The guitar arrived and I was really impressed by the quality.  The fit and finish is first rate, the materials all excellent, and it had very good action.  For the money this was the best small guitar I have seen. I would gladly buy another. - T K, MI

I bought this guitar for my 7 Year old son - After contemplating several models, I chose this one.  It was not easy to find a guitar like this, but I am very glad I did!  The scale length is perfect, not too short - The guitar plays very nicely with Standard 009 strings tuned to concert pitch. What impresses me the most about this guitar is the quality - it is all solid wood, and very inexpensive!  I had to adjust the truss rod and intonation, and now the guitar plays like a dream – The short scale makes it very easy to bend notes! The electronics are very good, great tone and smooth potentiometers!  If you are thinking of buying a Squire, think again – This guitar is much better! Even though I bought this for my son, I can play it too!  It is the best of both worlds, small enough for him, but large enough that he will not out-grow it. A simply amazing piece, and a fantastic bargain!
